Frequently Asked Questions and Process

  • I work freehand mixed with some stenciling – I love it so much! It means I don’t draw designs in advance, which means I don’t show it. We create the design together before the session right on the skin. All details are discussed before, during, and after the freehand and stenciling.

I love creating unique designs directly on your skin. This means that you won’t see the exact design before the session.

We can have a consultation in advance which we can discuss details and placement.  Consultations can be in person or online.

A deposit is required to secure your booking, which will be deducted from the total cost.

  • Starting on September 6th 2025 my books will stay open for the rest of 2025. This means you can submit an inquiry (while I still have availability for the year) through my website.

I’ll announce when I’ll be scheduling for the first few months of the year, likely sometime in November.

I decide which projects to take on based on interest, skillset, and alignment. I send out emails letting you know if I have chosen to take on your project and what the next steps are. I send emails out to EVERYONE, despite whether we move forward on the project together.

It typically takes 1- 2 weeks for me to reach out to let you know if I’ve decided to take on your project. I will send a booking link to you if we are moving forward on your design, in which you can schedule your own appointment & consultation (if wanted) while paying your deposit.

Please note, I only schedule consultations for those who have an appointment date set/ scheduled.

  • Anytime I release a design that I would like to tattoo, an inquiry can be made on the design inquiry form here on my website, or through the custom booking form when I open my books.

Please list the number associated and desired placement.

Small adjustments can be made, but if there are numerous changes you would like, I would recommend submitting a custom request when my books open.

  • This situation varies case by case. Appointment slots are booked based on the discussed design. I can always discuss any changes you may have, but know that our appointment slot may not accommodate your changes. You're welcomed to make small changes and adjustments to your design after your original request and/or consultation. Any drastic changes may result in the forfeit of your appointment slot, needing to reschedule.

  • Yes, but doing so will forfeit your deposit. I would recommend rescheduling!

  • Yes I do! Because it will be apparent whether a touchup is needed within the first few months, I do them for free for the first 6 months after the tattoo was made. After that I do charge a $100 minimum for touchups.

  • No, I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18.

  • Yes I do. Please include all people in one booking form.

  • Yes, I do! It’s important that scars be healed at least a year. Please include in your request form if this is something we will be exploring.

  • If you have pre-existing skin conditions such as eczema, you can be tattooed as long as the placement is not where you have continued flare ups.

Please mention this when booking as this will need to be considered while designing.

  • Starting with appointments booked during the September ’25 booking round, I will be charging based on a full day ($1300), 4-5 hours ($1000) or half day ($700). I take select smaller projects that will be quoted based on a $250 hourly rate.

At this time, I won't be taking monetary tips! Any art, handmade objects, produce, baked goods are loved and appreciated but not expected.

If you are working within a specific budget, please let me know and I will do my best to design/work within it. If this requires adaptations to the design/idea, I'm always happy to discuss changes in our consultation or provide alternative options.

  • I do require a deposit to schedule an appointment and consultation.

Deposits are range from $100-$200 depending on the size of the tattoo.

Deposits are applicable to the total cost of your tattoo. If you have multiple sessions, your initial deposit will be applicable to the last appointment scheduled. Please note that your deposit is nonrefundable, and will cover one appointment reschedule if given at least 72 hours (3 days) notice.

Your deposit will be forfeited and a new one will need to be placed If you need to:

    • Reschedule a second time

    • Rescheduling under 3 days notice

    • Cancelling after booking an appointment

    • Not showing up to your appointment

    • Showing up more than 30 minutes late.

  • Tips are always appreciated, but never required. Non-monetary tips are also appreciated and loved.

  • I can take card payments at the end of our appointment, or cash.

Cash is preferred, but I understand if carrying a larger amount of cash is unnerving.

With card transactions, a 3% fee will be added to the total amount charged to cover card transaction fees.
